About me

My name is Karen and I’m 25years old and I live in Australia with my parents and dog whose name is Flea and 2 fighting fish who are named Elmo and Cookie monster. I attend the local TAFE, and I am just beginning an Arts/Law degree at another university.  I love to read and write, watch movies, listen to music and I’m a motor sports fanatic. My favourite colour is purple.

I have cerebral palsy and another illness which I call the medical mystery because the doctors can’t treat it or give me a diagnosis yet.

The cerebral palsy (Spastic Diplegia) affects my legs and right arm. I use a wheelchair all the time. I try not to let this stop me from doing anything and recognise that the most important thing is to keep a smile on my face and do the best I can no matter what.
